Your First Visit At Our Clinic

We understand that coming to the doctor’s office can be an uncomfortable feeling, especially when dealing with sensitive issues. Dr. Ingber’s all-female staff takes every step possible to respect your privacy and make your visit more comfortable.

Before your visit, please make sure you send any relevant information to our office so we may review this in detail. If you have had other physicians evaluate you for the same or related problems, please obtain records from these physicians. Please provide us with copies of any laboratory information or imaging studies that you have recently had. Fill out our New Patient Paperwork.

During your visit a nurse will typically review your medical history and will ask you questions about the reason for your visit. Please remember that everything you share with Dr. Ingber is private. Typically, Dr. Ingber will spend some time understanding your condition and will ask more targeted questions about your problems. Feel free to bring up any other questions or concerns that you have during this time.

After taking a detailed history, you will typically have an examination. This will be similar to an examination which is performed by the general gynecologist.

A discussion will then occur where a plan of action is made. Typically you will be scheduled for a follow-up visit. Letters will often be sent to your medical doctor or gynecologist in order to keep them informed of findings at your visit and the plan for future care.
