At The Center for Specialized Women’s Health, we are happy to provide care for your patients for a variety of reasons. Every referring doctor has different and unique needs. The following services are available:
Several physicians rely on our expertise in evaluating complicated urologic or urogynecologic conditions. This may involve some basic in-office testing (e.g. cystoscopy, urodynamic testing) in order to provide a more thorough evaluation. All recommendations will be forwarded to your office for your review, and so you may follow Dr. Ingber’s recommendations for your patient.
Many physicians prefer that we not only evaluate patients, but also manage their condition as well. Even if we are asked to manage the patient’s condition, we will keep you informed of any findings and any plans that we have. If surgery is offered to your patient and you would like to be involved, we are typically able to accommodate this and adapt to your schedule.
We deal with a variety of issues related to female urological and urogynecological health. If your patient is not 100% satisfied with their treatment regimen by another physician, we are happy to provide a second opinion.
Dr. Ingber is a board-certified Urologist and Fellowship-trained physician in Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery, and a Clinical Assistant Professor in Urology at Weill Cornell Medical College. He is available as a proctor for a variety of advanced minimally-invasive surgical techniques for urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, interstitial cystitis and vulvar disease.
